Thailand, January 2009 - West Sands, Phuket's newest 5 star residential and resort development has announced the appointment of Mr. Claude Baltes as Resort Director. Mr. Baltes is from Luxembourg and has more than 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He has opened and managed luxury resorts and residential properties in Indonesia and Thailand for Banyan Tree Hotels and Resorts and Six Senses Resorts & Spas since 1994.
"This is a stunning property consisting of a 450 Suite and Pool Villa Resort (open June 2009), a 20.000 square meter Waterpark (open October 2009) and a 2nd Resort with 400 rooms (open 2010).
