The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), together with Mekong Economics, is conducting research on "investment facilitation" for the preparation of the flagship ASEAN Investment Report 2022. The aim of this survey is to better understand the impact of investment facilitation measures in encouraging multinational enterprises (MNEs) to invest in one or more ASEAN Member States. As a part of the report, the survey will collect information on Thailand's process of foreign investment from the perspective of foreign investors in Thailand.

In addition, an update for travellers who are planning to visit Thailand, please stay tuned on the news that in early of June “Face mask-wearing mandate to be lifted 'only in certain areas”. Thailand Public Health Ministry has issued a clarification about news regarding the lifting of the mask mandate next month, saying the mask requirement may be eased only in some designated areas.  Read more  here.

Survey on Investment Facilitation for 'the ASEAN Investment Report 2022' by UNCTAD

The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), together with Mekong Economics, is conducting research on "investment facilitation" for the preparation of the flagship ASEAN Investment Report 2022. The aim of this survey is to better understand the impact of investment facilitation measures in encouraging multinational enterprises (MNEs) to invest in one or more ASEAN Member States. There are four main sectors in the survey, including;
- Background information
- Opinions on Investment facilitation in the Host country
- Regional investment agreements
- How investment facilitation can be improved
