This is my first message I am sending out as a new Executive Director of BeluThai. I am very pleased to be appointed for this position. I would like to promise to you all that I will use my knowledge and experiences which I have over 15 years from chamber of commerce and non-profit organizations to add more value and maintain the benefit to BeLuThai members. I am glad to share with you all that on September 27th we had a great success of hosting and webinar on “Blockchain Technology and Digital Currencies for Companies” with big thank you to our informative speakers and sponsor. We had over 140 participants joined our webinar with very engage questions during Q&A session. 
 
Due to the current regulation, we still working on planning our upcoming events for November and December. Let’s hope we all can get together very soon before the end of the year. We also continue in co-host events with JFCCT and other foreign chamber of commerce to add more networking opportunities to you. MEMBERS NEWS AND ARTICLE

Job Retention SME new Scheme



BeLuThai and JFCCT are pleased to share a good news for SME companies that Thai Government has just approved a new handouts scheme for companies of all the sectors in Thailand. 

The measure, named “Job Retention SME”, was just announced, and registration for companies starts on October 20, 2021. 
 
Handouts will be transferred directly to company bank accounts, and will consist in 3,000 THB multiplied for the number of staff, and will be paid 3 times, in 3 different months: November 2021, December 2021, and January 2022.
 

Conditions are as follows:
 - Companies must maintain at least 95% of the staff from now and withing this period.
- Eligible companies are the ones with a maximum of 200 staff.
- Companies must register online and send the documents support withing 20 November 2021

This scheme is different than the previous handouts from social security scheme, although the amounts were also same, 3,000 THB per staff, and this time registration must be done at Job Retention SME, on DOE (Department of Employment) website. available in Thai only:  https://bit.ly/3vtBT14
