THEIR OBJECTIVES

The Chao Phya Abhai Raja Siammanukulkij Foundation was created in 2008 and is based in Chiangrai, Thailand. The Foundation is named after the Thai Royal Title of Gustave Rolin-Jaequemyns, a Belgian jurist who served as General Advisor to His Majesty King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) between 1892 and 1901.

The Foundation has three objectives:

(1) To preserve the memory of the work and achievements of Chao Phya Abhai Raja in Siam.

(2) To help society.

(3) To contribute to the good relations between Thailand and Belgium.

To reach these objectives, the Foundation has organized many activities and events over the years.

These activities included the publishing of books, the inauguration of statues, and the organization of many charity campaigns and important commemorative events.

Among other projects, the Foundation has initiated musical and artistic projects, built a complete football stadium to allow the community to play sports and get away from drugs, and has hosted members of the Royal families of Thailand, Belgium, and other countries, in important gala dinners.
